Custom Lynx 2-Way CAT5E etherCON Drum

Custom Lynx tourgrade 2-way CAT5E etherCON drum system constructed using our rugged, yet flexible 2-way CAT5E cable, Neutrik etherCON connectors and tourgrade quality Schill drum.

The cable is smooth and flexible, yet tough ideal for live use. The connectors are Neutrik NE8MX-B-1 connectors (RJ45 grounded to the etherCON shell) with rubber covers to protect and keep dust out when not in use and Neutrik NE8FDP-B chassis connectors mounted on a front plate. Red boot on one of the etherCON connectors for easy identification. Breakouts also have braided tails – further strengthening this area.

This drum system is suitable for use in tour/stage environments where quick and flexible deployment is needed or linking two remote items of equipment is a requirement. It is available in lengths from 30m to 100m and custom label options are also available.

This cable is terminated “Straight Through” meaning mapping of connections pin to pin from 1 to 8 (1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc.)

Please note:
The length of cable is measured from connector to connector (end to end). Each drum has 0.5m of cable inside the drum – this is included in the “base” price, e.g. 20m drum will have 0.5m inside and the 19.5m will be wrapped around the drum.
